Lifechoice ActivOx Pro 4L Portable Concentrator
The Lifechoice Pro 4L is the newest addition to Inova Lab's
Activox line, offering a higher dosage setting than it predecessors,
while still being small and light. It's also full-featured and as
powerful as oxygen concentrators twice its size. The Lifechoice Activox
4L fullfills only what older and larger portable oxygen concentrators
could provide.
This portable concentrator weighs just 4.8 lbs, and measure to 9.05"
wide by 7.875" high by 4.38" deep. The internal battery alone can last
up to 10.25 hours. The battery duration depends on which oxygen dosage
setting you are using. 10.25 hours for setting 1, 8.25 hours on setting
2, 5 hours on setting 3, and 4 hours on setting 4. The internal battery
takes a total of 4 hours to charge from 0 to 100%.
The ActivOx 4L offers pulse dose oxygen settings with equivalent of 4
LPM (liters per minute) at an average purity of 90%. This portable
concentrator also features the exclusive PULSE WAVE delivery system, as
well as “Auto Mode”, which sync to your natural breathing patterns, and
change as soon as your breathing patterns change. These features add
extra comfort to your oxygen therapy experience.
The loudest noise level was recorded at 44 decibels on the highest
setting, which in comparison, is no louder than a bird's chirping. The
control panel is located on the top of the concentrator and is easy to
read and operate. There is a power button, +, -, and “OK” setting
buttons to set your dosage, the cannula tube nozzle on the top of the
concentrator, and the display screen in the center, which can show
battery meter bars, alarm messages, level setting, auto mode and PULSE
WAVE settings and shows whether or not the alarm system is muted.
The alarm system includes low battery, low oxygen purity, high
temperature, no breaths detected, and when a reset is required. When
attention is needed due to these things, an audible tone will go off,
unless the audible alarms are muted, the red alarm indicator light will
turn on the control panel, and the title of the alarm will show on the
display screen, so you know which problem to address. Refer to the
owners manual on the causes and how to fix each issue if they occur.
Comes with a standard 3 year limited manufacturer's warranty. With the
ActivOx 4L package, you will also get the compatible AC power supply,
the DC power supply, a standard 7-foot long single lumen nasal cannula,
and the owners manual.
You'll also get the carry case which can be carried 4 different ways
with the adjustable straps (backpack style, shoulder bag, waist pack or
briefcase style), as well as a matching accessory bag. The carry case
features an opening on the side, so you can easily plug in the external
battery when you need it. The ActivOx external battery is sold
separately, but is compatible with the ActivOx 4L.
