4 of 5 Great - except the brakes September 24, 2013
Reviewer: Robert Currah from Seattle, WA United States
First time using a scooter like this, but I really like it.  It is very sturdy and durable, and a smooth ride.  The only problem is that it has a very cheap hand brake lever - much cheaper than you would find on a kids bike.  I pulled it and it broke apart within a week.  It is kind of important to be able to stop.  Might go to the bike shop and look into an alternative if I can't get any help.  Calling the Medical Department Store hasn't resulted in much response.

5 of 5 Knee Scooter September 23, 2013
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Huntington Beach, CA United States
This item was recommended for my husband following foot surgery by the hospital's physical therapy department. It's exactly what he needed. And each day we anticipated its arrival so that PT could work with him. That never happened .
However the only issue I had was with the customer service. The item was ordered to be shipped priority next day. Who knew "next day" meant 5 days later. Extremely poor customer service on the part of the company as I was told each day you would "have it tomorrow by 7pm".
Fortunately the shipping charges were completely refunded .

4 of 5 knee scooter review April 15, 2013
Reviewer: Carol Ramey from Mechanicsville, MD United States
The knee scooter was a lifesaver.  Crutches were hard to get around but the scooter has made it fairly easy for me.  Although i believe this is a great product, there is however a couple of drawbacks.  First one is that there is no lock on the scooter so it will get away from you if you leave unattended on a slant.  Also, the knee pad is not very soft and was hard on the knee.  I used a hand towel and tape it on the pad and that worked great, relieved alot of pressure on the knee.  I recommend this product to anyone who needs foot surgery.

5 of 5 Roscoe Knee Scooter March 30, 2013
Reviewer: Ria Lau from Wautoma, WI United States
Was contacted by the service dept the day after I placed the order that the color I chose was on back-order. They were able to ship out a different color on the same day. Or could have waited a week for the first color choice. Package arrived with in days - just in time for my son to go back to work. He is very happy with the knee walker "much easier than crutching" and it was more reasonable then renting for $100/month.
I am very satisfied with medical department store.com and would recommend it to friends and family
